Fav Local Spots: Good Life Organics

You have seen all the pics of tropical, açaí bowls and vlogs of bloggers smoothie-making in their Vitamix, right? They are a bit mouth watering. Like yes. Give me them all Summer long. Good Life Organics brings those vibes to our neighborhood.
Thhhhhhhe thing is: They have way more than juices and smoothies. Avocado toasts, salmon kale salads, baked oatmeal, dessert smoothie bowls, and immunity shots. The smoothies are super, super filling, so I would not recommend getting an entire meal with a smoothie as a “drink”, instead opt for the kombucha or nitro cold brew OR just do a smoothie or smoothie bowl as a meal replacement (—if you look at the ingredients, they usually have collagen, avocado, bone broth protein, chia, or some kind of good filler).
There is just not a spot quite like it --- A spot that offers juices and smoothies filled with nutrient-dense, real food that aides in treating and energizing your body without the ICKY. Ingredients without chemicals. Creaminess without dairy (I opt for the house-made oat milk every time!). Fruit without added sugar. GLO strives to source as close to 100% organic as possible, while emphasizing support of small, local farms and vendors, AND their disposables and scraps are eco-friendly and composted locally. When brands make it their priority to find the healthiest ingredients from the best sources you know they are on your team. GLO is a part of a much bigger team that focuses not only on nutrition, but fitness and health too. Yoga. Pound. Workouts. Movie nights. Anxiety and stress management. Cooking classes. Lessons. All kinds of things.
“Every time you spend money, you are casting a vote. This can be both incredibly empowering and a hard pill to swallow. We are responsible for funding so much slave labor, [pollution, waste, toxic chemicals, illness, human trafficking, and cheap replacements for the real thing…] But we also have the power to stop it”. @jennastrubhar
